Filter Housing FHPR5-X-WB. This is a 5″ canister that can be connected directly to the main water supply of the house. It provides protection for the entire house. Connecting two or more of these filters in series can fully cover the needs of a household (removal of solid particles, dechlorination, reduction of heavy metals, etc.).

The large 1/2″ diameter of the filters favors high water flow. Its increased resistance to high pressure allows it to be installed in almost any home.

It comes with a tightening key and a wall-mounting bracket. They are usually equipped with sediment filters for the removal of soil, rust, and sand, and with activated carbon filters for basic water dechlorination, with installation done under the kitchen counter.

It accepts all 5″ replacement filters, the main supply filters are intended for filtering the water of the entire house and polypropylene filters are usually chosen. For installation under the kitchen counter in series with the cold water supply of the faucet, activated carbon filters are chosen.

Before purchasing, make sure you have access to your home's water supply pipes. It is advisable to consult a professional plumber for their installation.

Regular maintenance (filter replacement) is essential. Cleaning and lubrication are also important. This minimizes the wear of the filter housing and the drop in water pressure in your home.
