The Sea to Summit Alto camping tent is semi-freestanding and designed for two people. Its Tension Ridge architecture raises the roof, creating more head and shoulder room, as well as taller doors and a larger vestibule. Apex vents release moist air and help reduce condensation.

The rainfly can be rolled back on both sides for stargazing and redeployed from inside. It can also be used for a dry setup by pitching the fly first. Hangout mode turns the rainfly into a semi-open shelter and requires a pair of trekking poles or the special pole set.
