Transparent Preparation Gesso 3000 Amsterdam Talens

Purpose: To create a preparation layer on various absorbent surfaces. Painting, icon painting, and craft gesso.

  • Provides a layer of good adhesion for oils, acrylics, gouache, etc.
  • Suitable for absorbent surfaces that have been cleaned of dust and oils.
  • Suitable for surfaces such as canvas, wood, plywood, cardboard, MDF, and paper.
  • Suitable for preparing surfaces such as cement, stucco, and bricks.
  • Very absorbent surfaces should be prepared in combination with the Amsterdam Acrylic Binder product.
  • Can be tinted with acrylic paint.
  • Dilutes with water.
  • Applies at temperatures above 10°C; should not be cooled.
  • Clean tools with water.
