Cleaning is easy, as the waterfall can be disassembled into many parts. It includes an ExoTerra ReptiFlo pump to provide water circulation. As a safety measure, for smaller chameleons and frogs, small stones or gravel can be added to the collection tank. Organic waste should be removed from the collection tank at regular intervals to keep the water clean. Tap water should be treated with Aquatize to remove chlorine and heavy metals. Adding Biotize will help keep the water cleaner for a longer period, as well as promote the necessary beneficial bacteria and reduce odors related to decomposing waste.
