HiFi Architecture & Wireless LDAC

The FiiO BR13 features the Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth chip and a high-fidelity ES9018K2M DAC for precise audio reproduction. It supports seven high-resolution codecs, including LDAC for premium wireless listening. With a TPA1882 operational amplifier, a crystal oscillator, and five low-noise LDOs, it ensures clean, distortion-free output.

USB DAC & Gaming Compatibility

As a USB DAC, it supports playback up to 96kHz/24bit, while UAC1.0 support enables direct plug-and-play connection to consoles such as the PS5 and Nintendo Switch. It also features a HiFi mute circuit to eliminate noise when muted and OVP overvoltage protection for safe operation.

    First of all, the correct price is €50. Now, what should I say first about this pocket-sized beast, guys? This little thing was the reason I got a bigger DAC too, without, of course, retiring the small one. Plug in a Ugreen charger and it’s perfect. Before I got it, I used various solutions, from sound cards to mixers and USB interfaces; well, when I heard this, I sat down and listened to everything all over again. There’s no going back. I connected the TV’s optical output, the computer’s USB, and I can also connect via LDAC Bluetooth with my phone. With this, you can even hook up an amp to your 60-inch smart TV and make it do amazing things with this little gadget. So after this, you only look at the WiiM Ultra, and after that, only Cambridge... Most people will be well served by FiiO; for x non-DAC users, it’s a fantastic, wonderful world.

    I bought it a year ago. First of all, I should say that I am satisfied with the sound ... although I don't have crazy expectations. At the moderate frequency that I have used it up to today, I have noticed the following bugs. First, it doesn't have a convenient power on/off, so it works all the time, which means that the automatic shut-off function of my amplifier doesn't work, which is very annoying. Lately, even though it seems that my laptop connects, in reality it doesn't play any sound, or where it is playing music, for some reason playback stops.... maybe something more basic would do the same or even better job

A big plus is that it also works as a USB DAC (and even at 96kHz/24-bit!), while on Bluetooth it supports many codecs ensuring good compatibility with a wide range of devices. It is also quite elegant in construction with a nice finish.

    On the negative side, its application has compatibility issues with modern versions of Android (16). It also seems to have a rather small audio buffer, resulting in LDAC not playing reliably and causing noticeable playback issues (buffer under-runs) when the Bluetooth connection quality is anything less than perfect.
