I have the mobile phone for a week now. For the time being, I can say it is the best value for money. Fast, satisfactory camera, elegant, and with the 120W charger included in the package, it charges from 0 to 100 in max 20-25 minutes. It is waterproof as it has an IP68 certification. (I think it is the first of the Redmi series). It also has NFC because many people ask. The package also includes a protective case. Additionally, the screen has integrated Gorilla Glass installed by the company, so there is no need for someone to purchase additional protection. The only negative aspect for some, which I knew from the beginning but it didn't discourage me from buying it, is that it does not support wired headphones.
The truth is that I expected more from this phone based on the reviews I read and having it for only 1 month. Using it exclusively for social media, it lags a lot, reels on Instagram are not smooth, it freezes on simple video editing apps (inshot) and overall I find it tiring to use. I don't know if it's because it constantly has high temperatures now in the summer.
The cameras are good during the day, in fact the video, after a few adjustments, is very satisfactory, although it randomly freezes sometimes during shooting. However, the front camera when I try to take a photo from Instagram or Messenger in low light is unacceptable, it smoothens everything out as if the lens is blurred. I included two photos in the review, day & night, just to give you an idea. I don't take selfies ?
I am generally disappointed, even though it is not an expensive phone and obviously it won't be perfect, it is still a significant amount to spend expecting a normal result.
After using and testing many devices, I would like to say the following about this particular one:
Unfortunately, a very mediocre phone that just barely justifies its price. At this price, a phone is usually very good in one aspect and lacking in others. This one is mediocre in all its features. Below are some positives/negatives based on its price.
Positives:
- Relatively good camera for a phone in this price range, although it could be a bit better
- The screen is nice, bright, and you can see everything clearly even in sunlight
- The phone's speakers are amazing
- Bluetooth devices work flawlessly; the volume in the headphones, for example, is noticeably louder than older generation devices, and there are never any disconnections (Xiaomi headphones)
Negatives:
- Xiaomi's operating system... unfortunately makes the phone seem very mediocre and doesn't reach its potential
- It overheats easily, especially if you have data or brightness set at 75% or higher
- Many times it is very slow. Many apps lag, and it throws the message "isn't responding." At least unacceptable for a phone with such a processor and RAM
- When you turn on the phone (e.g., when it has shut down due to battery), you have to wait 3-5 minutes because until then it operates at a level where you can barely make calls
- Brightness is good in high light conditions, but in the dark, if you are used to lower brightness, this particular device will not suit you at all. Even at the minimum, the brightness is excessive for me, as I generally prefer low brightness
These are my thoughts after 2 weeks of use; of course, I will update if necessary
Purchased a few days ago at 340 for the 8/256 version. Initially, the phone is quite beautiful, and the construction along with the curved screen gives a very premium feel. The battery is very satisfactory, and I haven't encountered the problems that other users mention. Anyway, the phone comes with a charger (beast 120w), so you won't face any issues. The screen has amazing colors, decent brightness, and good resolution; overall, I have no complaints. As for the cameras, I don't have a complete opinion yet, but the main camera and the selfie camera take very nice photos for their price category. So far, with daily use without playing games, I haven't faced any problems; the phone is very fast. As for Xiaomi's software, which has a lot of talk around it, I am very satisfied. When I first opened the phone, I deleted some unnecessary pre-installed apps, turned off the ads (a very easy process with a YouTube video; anyone can do it), and immediately after, it got Android 14 and Hyper OS, and so far, everything is perfect. I recommend it

It drove me crazy and with the photos that show carpets I sold it, I put in 500€ and got an iPhone and it really feels like going from a Fiat to a Mercedes.. stay away from this phone because you will be looking to sell it especially if you deal with social media
Just purchased from Skroutz, very good camera along with the phone came a charger and case but I was impressed that the screen didn't have a film but a glass protector.. as for the battery it drains quite quickly, I will return soon for a review update
For anyone who knows, it seems that so far this is the best Android smartphone that has ever been made. I hope this is enough for you. Until the next Xiaomi Inc., your faithful follower from the existence of you and not without reason
I have been a holder of the Redmi Note 9 Pro for almost 4 years, from which I have only good impressions. The Note 13 Pro Plus (12 + 12 Gb RAM - 512 Gb ROM) has all the good features described in user reviews, so I won't repeat them. I will focus on the negatives mentioned. Firstly, the battery, guys, is 5000 mAh, which is at the same level as its predecessors. And we knew this. However, we should realize that it is a phone superior in almost all characteristics compared to its predecessors. Yes, the Note 9 Pro had a longer battery life. Here, however, we have a 5G network, a brighter AMOLED display (with always-on functionality), a faster processor, and a screen refresh rate of 120 Hz, thus consuming more energy, which unfortunately cannot be saved no matter how lightweight the software is and how efficient the battery management is. Also, a user complained about the charging speed (40 minutes?). So, let them enable the charging acceleration and speed enhancement from the additional battery features, and the time will be halved. Just ask yourself how many phones are on the market that you plug in, take a shower, and find them at 100%, practically having battery everywhere and always! (This is also the main reason I won't go for any reason to a well-known Korean company. Seriously, Koreans, 25 watts on all your models??). For those who don't find it fast enough, let them try the performance mode in the settings - battery, and we'll talk again... I compared it in opening apps - cameras, scrolling, and fingerprint recognition with the OnePlus Nord 3 (Dimensity 9000), and it is equally fast! (Honestly, the fingerprint recognition is incredibly fast and accurate; I don't know what issue some people have...). I have all the aforementioned features open - activated and additionally permanently connected to a Samsung watch, and at the end of the day (without playing games but with quite a bit of usage like almost all of us) it remains at about 20% (around 30-40% with location turned off). Fair enough... By the way, for the gentleman who complained about constantly disconnecting from the watch, unfortunately, it's a phone issue. I also tried everything before resorting to resetting the phone, and that solved the problem. Now, regarding the camera, compare the 200 MP zoom with any phone in the category, and we'll talk again. Okay, it bothers me that in this configuration, it doesn't have the settings I would like, but that's a minor issue. However, there is a way to open it directly at 200 MP by default (settings, keep settings, camera mode). After all, what do we have the 512 GB for... Finally, regarding the ads, if I didn't have the phone, based on what some say, I would think it's like YouTube or something... Guys, no relation! Occasionally, stock apps show ads, which if you don't want, you can install some alternatives of your choice. To not bore you further, from me, it's a solid 5 out of 5. Kudos to Xiaomi; I hope they continue their good work in the future and offer valuable products at competitive prices.

I bought the phone initially for videos and photos. However, unfortunately... Unacceptable phone full of ads. It's like it has a virus. I have watched so many videos to remove the ads and the issue is not fixed at all! It's not fast, nor pleasant to use. I've had it for 5 months and it doesn't... Oh, and the photos are mediocre, very fake results on faces, better on landscapes. Close-ups, no... Night shots are mediocre photos. Videos are satisfactory. I don't compare it to anything extreme. My old phone is a Huawei P20, 8 years old... Which I still use, as the Xiaomi didn't suit me at all. Overall, I do not recommend it
I bought this model after thoroughly enjoying its predecessor, the Redmi Note 9 Pro, for years. Unfortunately, I can't say that it competes with it. It often lags and its battery drains very quickly. It still remains a value-for-money choice compared to the others available on the market.
The NFC is not good at all and the battery does not last even a day with normal use of the mobile phone. Too much money for what it offers.
Thank our Chinese friends who offer us mobile phones at prices that would cost twice as much in other countries.

I expected a little more from the battery, luckily it has a fast charger of 120W and also the front camera is unfortunately a big disappointment worse than any other model.. As for the front camera, I was amazed by the night shots and also the 4K24 video is amazing!!!
Purchased 4 months ago for €415 including cash on delivery and shipping, I have the following to say. The phone has terrible battery drain to the point that it drives you crazy! It definitely needs 2 charges from 0-100 a day with full use every 12 hours, like a prescription. Although it has 120W, in the beginning, mainly until it reached 2 months towards the third month, it charged from 20%-100% in 20 to 24 minutes; now with 100 apps and 4k videos, I feel that the time has dropped significantly, taking up to 40 minutes. Of course, if it shuts down due to battery, which it does if you leave it at 5% with nothing active or 10% with only alarms active, it will shut down during the night, and in the morning you will find it off. From 0-100% when off, it takes exactly 40 minutes. The camera during the day with good lighting is very good, I would say impressive, but 4k video etc. is mediocre and needs work or settings if there are tutorials somewhere. At night, the 4k video with zoom is terrible if, for example, you want to capture a performance from a distance. The Mediatek Dimensity processor and UFS 3.1 storage didn't impress me, even though it's the version with 12GB RAM (+12GB digital) and 512GB ROM. As for updates, it has been stuck for 4 months on Android 13 and MIUI 14.04, simply unacceptable for a new phone with such time in the market. I don't know why, but I feel that it will change faster than usual, and I usually keep them for about 2.5 years until I turn them off or they break. Edit: It's almost September, and the phone still hasn't received an Android and MIUI update, resulting in it being stuck on Android 13 and MIUI 14.04. Also, regarding the friend below who wrote about the settings for fast charging and responsiveness when opening apps, of course, I have everything activated.
I have it for about a month, bought it for 340€. Very nice screen, battery lasts a day at 30% but charges quickly. It doesn't have the fastest scroll so you might need to look for settings to make it smoother to use. Overall, a good purchase. Be careful, upgrades up to android 16 (around 3 years), as soon as you open it upgrades to 14 and there are 2 more major updates left.
Very good mobile for its price, it's just that the Android is not clean, they mixed it with Chinese applications that you have to disable the bloatware and delete all the Chinese junk that is useless and drains the battery for no reason, and also disable the ads from the apps. I read reviews that the battery doesn't last, but they don't mention that with just 10 minutes of charging from 30%, it reaches 100%. I am amazed by the charging, it's simply incredible. Additionally, it is very fast in everything, nice cameras, and the screen looks like a premium mobile. The only negative is indeed that it heats up, but for me, it's not a problem. Truly, it is the best mobile I have ever held in my hands.
I was expecting much better things from such a mobile phone. The lags it has been experiencing for two months are ridiculous. I switched from the Samsung Galaxy A50 and this one turned out worse. It heats up very easily and has countless lags.

As a user of the device for about a month now, I have to say that the device is perfect. I was looking for a budget camera phone because I didn't want to go back to an iPhone due to the price and battery life. The phone has an incredible 200mp camera that takes perfect shots, the 12mp selfie camera is also perfect, and both cameras offer picture quality that would rival a flagship phone. The 120hz screen makes the phone smooth on the eyes, especially when it comes to video games, providing the best experience. The battery is quite large at 5000mAh, offering a day of usage+ even with always on display turned on. The processor of the phone is also very fast and can handle everything from browsing to professional use. I highly recommend this phone to everyone without hesitation, and I believe it offers a lot more for its price. Also, I come from a €500 iPhone SE 2 and I don't regret switching from Apple to Android

The mobile phone is great in everything. Comments about the camera etc. If you don't like it, go to iPhone and pay double and put money. As for the ads on its operating system etc. watch a video on YouTube on how to disable them and you will be fine.
