The 2nd edition of the two-volume work "Law of the Public Limited Company" was deemed necessary for various reasons: since the first edition (2020) until today, there have been significant legislative developments that affect the law of public limited companies (limited changes to Law 4548/2018, new law on G.E.M.H. - Law 4919/2022, the new law on corporate governance - Law 4706/2020, amendment of Law 4601/2019 for corporate transformations with Law 5055/2023, new directives or proposals for directives on accounting and corporate law issues).

Furthermore, during the first five years of the application of Law 4548/2018, significant case law and literature were produced, which needed to be considered. Finally, new legal issues were identified that required development.

The 1st volume includes the interpretation of articles 1-95 and the 2nd volume includes the interpretation of the remaining articles, 96-190 of Law 4548/2018. Each article, in addition to its interpretative text, is accompanied by an excerpt from the explanatory report and specific literature, while under article 12, issues of publicity of branches of foreign companies have been placed as an Appendix.

The interpretation is oriented towards the practical needs of the practitioner, while not lacking theoretical depth to the extent necessary for highlighting the purpose of the provisions and the correctness of the proposed solutions.

The aim of the work is to provide the scientific community and anyone involved with public limited companies (lawyers, judges, accountants, business consultants, etc.) with a systematic and in-depth interpretation of the law of public limited companies.
