The Pilot Color permanent marker has silver ink and a 1 mm round acrylic fibre nib for detailed drawing and decoration. The ink provides opaque coverage on smooth and porous surfaces, is resistant to light and water, and contains no xylene. The metal ball helps prevent the ink from drying out, right down to the last drop.

It is suitable for decorating paper, plastic and glass items. Before first use, shake vigorously with the cap on and pointing upwards, then press the nib onto paper 3–4 times to start the ink flow. When not in use, store horizontally with the cap on, and use in a well-ventilated area.
