The book describes historical events and the timeline of the massacre of the Priest of Angelokastro, Corinthia, Dimitrios I. Gkelis, which took place in Didyma, Argolida, during the dark times of the "red terror" of 1943-1944 at the concentration camp for death row inmates of the OPLA of Didyma.
Father Dimitris Gkelis was persecuted, tortured, and sentenced to death by the leaders of the EAM of Angelokastro because he tried to counteract the sermons of the "enlighteners" of the political religion of Communism, who often visited Angelokastro during the German-Italian occupation.
The book is a story based on actual events that occurred in what was then Argolida-Corinthia, explaining and justifying the events that took place before and after the era of the red terror in 1943-1944, and contributed to the development and shaping of the history of modern Greece and Europe.
