This journey –let's call it that– with Arcadia as its base, expands and is found everywhere in the world, in every corner of it and beyond the narrow limits set by localism.
For wayside stations, inns, or as they were called over time, all these buildings that provided services to travelers on the road, in Arcadia and in the Peloponnese, in Rumeili and Epirus, in Macedonia and Thrace, on the trade routes of the Balkans, or even further away, throughout the Old Continent –in the long span of successive cultures that were born or died, sharing the same purpose, with minor deviations of course– have always been there for the human factor.
To ease their journey. Their itinerary.
