The Alphacoustic Hexa sound-absorbing material is a hexagonal wall panel made from heat-bonded layers of recycled polyester fibres. It helps reduce reverberation time, unwanted reflections and standing waves. Its density remains consistent throughout its thickness, and the fibres are thermally bonded without chemicals or phenol-formaldehyde binders.
The panel has a weighted sound absorption coefficient of αw=1 in accordance with ISO 11654:1997 and is certified as free from VOCs and formaldehyde in accordance with ISO 16000. It is recyclable and suitable for spaces such as theatres, recording studios, offices and conference rooms. It is mounted on the wall using a special fitting and a screw-in hook.
