Description

The new iFi iCAN Phantom headphone amplifier upgrades the Pro iCAN and enhances every aspect of its circuitry to elevate its performance. It incorporates technology from the Pro iESL for electrostatic headphones and adds a new, advanced network-connected control system.

It features excellent build quality, advanced technology, and remarkable versatility, designed to power every type of headphone at their maximum sound performance. It supports headphones with different drivers, from ultra-sensitive IEMs to fine dynamic and electrostatic designs.

The iCAN Phantom can also function as a pre-amplifier to power amplifiers and speakers, allowing combined listening of headphones and speakers in a single high-performance audio system.

The design of the iCAN Phantom gives the impression of two units, but it is actually a single device with a dual level. Its construction is made of aluminum and features minimalist user controls and a colorful OLED display.

The iCAN Phantom features two input stages – one tube-based and the other solid-state – allowing the user to switch in real time between the two. The amplifier provides three different sound presentations.

The electrostatic amplification technology included integrates the standalone iESL technology with conventional amplification technology, enabling the iCAN Phantom to handle all types of headphones with ease. It also features two outputs for electrostatic headphones, one with a standard voltage of 230V and the other with an adjustable voltage between 500V and 640V.
