It is very difficult to use and it doesn't stand at all. Do not buy it. It is certain that you will have a very unpleasant experience. I used it once and it's going straight to the trash...

  • I have bought 3 awnings from the same company. As the years go by, the quality of the materials decreases. The last awning was purchased on 25/07/2024 and already two out of the five seams of the awning fabric have torn. Also, three out of the five pouches have torn.
Completely unacceptable for a product that costs €150.
The company should replace the awning fabric

Guys, the tent without wind is magical, although it takes up a lot of space. It's not suitable for crowded beaches—you'll get a lot of complaints. Now, to set it up when it's windy: first, call three more people, get three more stakes and three more bags, and fill them up—actually, you might as well bury them in the sand. Only then will it be able to stay put, but there's a big risk of tearing the fabric or bending a stake. You really need to get very familiar with setting it up, do it many times, and change the bags, the rings, and generally bring extra things with you.

Unfortunately, the Salty Tribe Tent completely disappointed us with its product! The first test drive took place on the volcanic island where we went on vacation - after all, we chose this specific tent with sunblock because we wanted strong protection from the sun in this place.

From the very first use, 3 out of the 5 bags tore, the bases from the stakes were not well integrated, resulting in them getting left behind and lost in the sand! Then, on the second use, one stake bent very easily, the ball that secures the fabric of the tent melted, and the mechanism that closes the bags (2/5 bags) broke.

The Salty Tribe Tent could be a much better product, the fabric looks good, although given the conditions we didn't get to test it much. The quality of construction of all the other accessories brings the overall product level down to the depths.

Overall, choosing this product caused us a lot of trouble! We would like:
A refund for the tent as we can return the product since it has become unusable!
Refund for the mental anguish of seven people who were left in the sun on the volcanic island on the hot black sand!

(P.S. unfortunately it only allows me to upload up to 5 photos)

One ring opened and one bag tore from the second use in about 4-5bft. If you don't overfill the bags, they don't stay stable, and if you overfill them, they obviously tear... Additionally, it requires excessively much space to set up. On the positive side, it provides very good and large shade.

1st setup with wind around 5 Beaufort, we were 2 people and 3 other bathers came to help us. To set it up, 4 held the 4 poles and 1 buried the bags in the sand hoping it would hold. In the end, they gave us 2 bags with rope and we added those, and then it stayed firmly in place. The hooks on the ropes are fake and all opened. I will put stronger ones from a locksmith. Also, with extra bags, it is quite stable in strong wind. It definitely needs practice. Unfortunately, we were beginners and on a beach with wind, and we struggled.
