So, the story goes like this: Misery Lark is the daughter of a powerful Vampire, who really dislikes her father and doesn’t want to return to their world! However, she is asked to marry a werewolf, specifically Lowe, a mysterious alpha, in order to secure the political agreement her father wants. Of course, she has her own plans as well.
▪️Style/Writing: This is Ali Hazelwood’s first attempt at a paranormal story and it was truly something else! The author’s narration and writing style remain the same, but now vampires, werewolves, and political dramas are added to the mix! It has very good pacing and the dialogues are unique!
▫️Why I loved it: Simply because we saw something different from the author. As much as I loved her previous books, I was a bit tired of their STEM character, so this was a little gem I didn’t expect! Also, the chemistry between Lowe and Misery WAS JUST WOW!
▪️Why you should read it: If you like enemies-to-lovers tropes but maybe with a more romantic and paranormal approach, then you just have to get your hands on this!

So, we have a wonderful little book, in English which I hope will be translated, by my beloved Ali Hazelwood which I read while I was sick in the summer and it literally made me lose myself in its world!
Misery is a Vampire who doesn't belong anywhere, she has sacrificed a lot for her people and now she has to accept another sacrifice: to become the bride of the Alpha Werewolf as a diplomatic act of peace between their peoples who are at war and in tension, but for her own reasons. Lowe, the alpha male of his pack, must agree to this marriage so he can establish himself after his recent rise to alpha.
? We have forced proximity, fake marriage, wonderful found family, cozy & humorous characters and sexy and daring protagonists who can't take their eyes off each other.

▪️Ύφος/Γραφή: Πρώτη επαφή της Ali Hazelwood με paranormal ιστορία και πραγματικά ήταν το κάτι άλλο! Η αφήγηση και ο τρόπος γραφής της συγγραφέως παραμένει ο ίδιος, όμως τώρα μπαίνουν στην εξίσωση και βαμπίρ, λυκάνθρωποι και πολιτικά δράματα! Έχει πολύ καλό pacing και οι διάλογοι είναι μοναδικοί!
▫️Γιατί το αγάπησα: Επειδή πολύ απλά είδαμε και κάτι διαφορετικό από την συγγραφέα. Όσο και να λάτρευα τα προηγούμενα βιβλία της με είχαν κουράσει λίγο με το STEM χαρακτήρα τους, οπότε αυτό ήταν ένα διαμαντάκι που δεν περίμενα! Επίσης η χημεία του Lowe με την Misery ΗΤΑΝ ΑΠΛΑ ΟΥΑΟΥ!
▪️Γιατί να το διαβάσεις: Αν σου αρέσουν enemies-to-lovers tropes αλλά ίσως με πιο ρομαντική και paranormal προσέγγιση τότε πρέπει απλά να το πιάσεις στα χέρια σου!
▫️ΑΑΑ και να μην ξεχάσω: Μετά το Bride… έρχεται το MATE! Οπότε μην ξεχάσεις να το αναζητήσεις!
Finaaaally I read one of my most anticipated reads for 2024 and I wonder why I hadn't done it sooner because...omg what a masterpiece of a paranormal romcom was this? ??️
So, we have a wonderful little book, in English which I hope will be translated, by my beloved Ali Hazelwood which I read while I was sick in the summer and it literally made me lose myself in its world!
Misery is a Vampire who doesn't belong anywhere, she has sacrificed a lot for her people and now she has to accept another sacrifice: to become the bride of the Alpha Werewolf as a diplomatic act of peace between their peoples who are at war and in tension, but for her own reasons. Lowe, the alpha male of his pack, must agree to this marriage so he can establish himself after his recent rise to alpha.
? We have forced proximity, fake marriage, wonderful found family, cozy & humorous characters and sexy and daring protagonists who can't take their eyes off each other.
? Spicy, paranormal, political issues, werewolf x vampire, fated mates and a wonderful plot that keeps you hooked!
? Surprising, hot, funny, incredibly well-written to the point that you think about it all day.
Conclusion: I loved it deeply! It truly deserves all 5 stars! YOU MUST READ IT!

Έχουμε λοιπόν ένα υπέροχο βιβλιαρακι, στα αγγλικά που ελπίζω να μεταφραστεί, από την υπεραγαπημενη μου Ali Hazelwood το οποίο διάβασα ενώ ήμουν άρρωστη καλοκαιριατικα και με έκανε να χαθώ κυριολεκτικά στο κόσμο του!
Η Misery είναι μια Vampire που δεν ανήκει πουθενά, έχει θυσιάσει πολλά για το λαό της και πρέπει να δεχτεί άλλη μια θυσία: να γίνει η νύφη του Alpha Warewolf ως διπλωματική πράξη ειρήνης μεταξύ των λαών τους που είναι σε πόλεμο και εντάσεις αλλά για τους δικούς της λόγους. Ο Lowe, alpha male του pack του πρέπει να συμφωνήσει σ αυτό τον γάμο ώστε να μπορέσει να εδραιωθεί έπειτα από τη πρόσφατη ανάδειξη του σε alpha.
? Έχουμε forced proximity, fake marriage, υπέροχο found family, cozy & χιουμοριστικους χαρακτήρες και σεξυ και τολμηρούς πρωταγωνιστές που δεν μπορούν να πάρουν τα μάτια ο ένας από τον άλλον.
