APPLICATION: We recommend a layer height of approximately 2 cm. In the DSB at least 8-10 cm. Due to the small grain size, the accumulation of detritus in the substrate is largely avoided.

The sand should be rinsed several times before using it in the aquarium. The existing dust content, which is always caused by friction during transport, etc., should be rinsed out considerably. Rinse the sand for this purpose until the water is no longer cloudy/white and is largely clear.
