The normal gut flora usually responds sensitively to internal changes such as:

• Changes in food
• Use of various medications

Problems also arise from external irritations such as:

• Changes in management conditions

• Transport

When the microbial balance is disrupted, the likelihood of disease increases. The intestinal flora should be “cared for” preventively as part of proper feeding. Maintaining the normal balance can be aided by feeding supplementary animal feed that contains a high concentration of lactic acid bacteria.

Feeding guidelines: For regulating intestinal flora, especially in young animals, when changing food or in stress situations. Add it to the food for 1-2 weeks, or longer if necessary.

Doses: Dogs: 1.5 g - 5 g per animal per day, Cats: 1.5 g per animal per day. 1 teaspoon = approximately 1.5 g and 1 tablespoon = approximately 5 g.
