This is the aquatic plant Anubias heterophylla (also known as Anubias congensis), originating from the nursery Stoffels.

It is one of the most easy and resilient aquarium plants, ideal for beginners.

• Appearance: It has large, tough, leathery leaves in a dark green color. Its leaves are lance-shaped (spearhead-like) and can reach a significant size, making it ideal for the midground or background of the aquarium.

• Growth: Its growth is very slow. This means it does not require frequent trimming, but it can become vulnerable to algae (green spot) growth on older leaves if the lighting is too strong.

• Lighting: It has no specific requirements. It prefers low to moderate lighting. It will also grow under intense light but is more prone to algae.

• CO2: No $CO_2$ supplementation is required.

• Water Hardness: It is extremely adaptable and tolerates a wide range of water parameters.
