The Heartleaf extract (houttuynia cordata, a chameleon plant with characteristic heart-shaped leaves) is known for its anti-inflammatory and soothing action. Anua uses only ingredients from leaves that were cultivated and harvested in Korea. Heartleaf (scientifically known as houttuynia cordata) is a flavonoid and flowering plant native to Southeast Asia. Due to its antioxidant, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties, Heartleaf has been traditionally used for medicinal purposes. The raw leaves and plant extracts are consumed for blood purification and relief from inflammatory conditions in the body. Additionally, the leaf extract has astringent properties that can effectively (yet gently) deeply cleanse pores while regulating excessive sebum production.

• Apply 2-3 drops to dry hands. 
• Gently massage onto dry skin, focusing on areas with heavy makeup and/or sebum buildup to dissolve skin impurities. 
• Wet your hands with a little water and massage the face for about 30 seconds until the oil emulsifies and turns milky white. 
• Rinse with lukewarm water. 
• Tip: Do not use on wet face or hands.
