The issue of noise is solved with a fan flow profile that you can adjust the speeds, but if you have purchased this cooler, you will probably overclock, and for that, it is perfect. I installed 2 in my liquid cooling - Kraken x52 - for the Ryzen 2700x and the liquid cooling skyrocketed (35-40°C idle / 76-85°C full load with Ryzen overclocked to 4.2GHz stable).
