Description

Maximizes the gaming experience

The AOC monitor is aimed at those looking for a good gaming monitor with a large screen. It is curved and wider compared to regular monitors. This provides a more natural viewing experience and a broader field of view, while also facilitating tasks with multiple windows and video editing. With an impressive WQHD 3440x1440 resolution, a stunning 180Hz refresh rate, and a fast GtG 1ms response time, it ensures exceptionally smooth visuals and eliminates motion blur, allowing you to relax and feel immersed in the game. HDR400 support enriches colors and details, making it an ideal choice for creative professionals who demand precision in their work.

180HZ refresh rate

Competitive and intense gaming requires the best technology to ensure lag-free gameplay and smoother performance. This monitor features a 180Hz refresh rate, making it 3 times faster than a standard monitor. A lower frame rate can make enemies appear to jump from spot to spot on the screen, making them very difficult targets to hit. A 180Hz frame rate brings those critical missing frames back to the screen, revealing enemy movements in extremely smooth motion, allowing you to aim more easily. With this monitor, you won't have to tolerate input lag and screen tearing.

1ms response time GtG

GtG means Grey-To-Grey and represents the time it takes for a pixel to change from one gray level to the next. In gaming, every millisecond counts and can be the factor that makes the difference between hitting or missing a shot. The fast response time also eliminates ghosting and motion blur.

Wide QHD (WQHD) resolution

With a resolution of 3440 x 1440, Wide Quad HD (WQHD) offers superior image quality and sharp images that reveal every detail. The wide 21:9 aspect ratio is ideal for watching movies in extended format or immersing yourself in the latest game, while also providing more space when it's time to work. True 8-bit color provides a wide color palette for vibrant, natural images.

VESA Certified DISPLAYHDR 400

Even the lowest level of High Dynamic Range (HDR) functionality is a significant upgrade for regular monitors. The maximum brightness of 400 cd/m² allows your screen to enhance image quality with a versatile color spectrum and more varied contrasts. The VESA certification ensures a wealth of details and realistic depiction of game and movie worlds.

6 games mode

Adjust your monitor to the game with the click of a button. Switch settings between built-in presets for FPS, racing, or RTS games, or customize your own ideal conditions and save them. AOC's settings keyboard makes switching profiles or adjusting functions quick and easy.

AOC G-Menu

The AOC G-Menu is a free tool that you can install on your computer for complete customization combined with maximum convenience.

I won't say much. I may not have experience with OLED, but from every screen I've had my hands on regarding 144Hz, 165Hz, 240Hz, whether VA, TN, IPS, NANO IPS panels, this VA screen with the correct settings at 144Hz where the color remains 10bit and not 8bit, whether for gaming or movies, is the most VALUE TOP screen I've ever seen Non-OLED!!! The photo is taken with an S25 ultra and there is a big difference. In reality, it's almost like OLED. IPS screens I've had, more than 4, never reached such a level of brightness and black! Check out the settings. A YOUTUBE video helped me regarding the settings and especially the Picture boost from the monitor's OSD.. (bright frame: on, frame size 100, brightness 40, and contrast 52)

I, who am not a demanding user, find it simply perfect. I had two 24-inch Dell monitors for years and decided to try going for an Ultrawide curved.

Amazing screen, plenty of connections, and very user-friendly. Now I have one monitor and fewer cables. I have a very large desk, so I have no issues with space.

Thanks to users SMARTYN89 and DimitrisKos for their reviews that helped me decide on this specific monitor. Anyone who works in front of a screen and has done the alt+tab sieve will greatly improve their work time and quality. I don't know if a flat 34-inch has the same efficiency. Also, getting a curved monitor under 34 inches doesn't make sense. The eye adjusted immediately to the curvature. Manual installation of drivers from the AOC website is required, and installation of the G-menu to create custom layouts that divide the screen into areas for multitasking. Easy process.

I left the previous AOC CU34G2X Ultrawide series without HDR and with 144Hz (it will go to the vacation house), and indeed satisfied, I came to this one. So far, after two days of use, I'm okay again. No dead pixels and clearly brighter with HDR support, and additionally with 180Hz. A big minus is the menu controls, come on AOC, put in a joystick so we don't break our nerves. A big plus is the just 289 euros I got it for.

It is a very good monitor, especially for what it offers: 180hz, 34' ultrawide, 2K resolution, and quite good colors.

    CAUTION:

Anyone looking to upgrade from any monitor should think again. I come from a 32-inch 240hz 1080p, which suited me very well from the start. If you plan to buy a new monitor, you are better off going for a 32-inch in whatever resolution you want. I personally would not recommend getting an ultrawide because even though it is so wide, I can't say that I like it.

    HEIGHT / WIDTH:

    In height: ~ 33.5cm and in width: ~ 80cm.

(Adjustable tilt only for the monitor, not for height up and down.)

I bought it for €300 because its price had dropped from around €380. Generally, if you have a decent budget, it’s better to go for a 32-inch rather than an ultrawide.

Very satisfied so far. Only two negatives, but to overcome these, one must go for prices above €1500. Low HDR (400 nits) and viewing only from a front central position. The AOC software could be more user-friendly, but it gets the job done.

Coming from a 60hz 4k Samsung 27 inches, for some reason I didn't notice a huge difference either in size (I was afraid that the 32 would be too much) but because it's curved it doesn't seem so, nor in picture quality. What I want to say is that in the games I play like WoW it looks smoother but I think I lost a lot by not having 4k. But all of this is personal preference.

The monitor is very decent for its price, and I believe it will serve any gamer well.

    Easy on the eyes.

Negatives: 1 dead pixel as soon as I got it in the first week, so far it hasn't shown any more so that's okay.

I would like more flexibility and height adjustment

A decent choice for its price. The image is quite good at the default settings, the wide mode in games gives a nice feeling, good response time, the USB3 hub works perfectly, be careful with the following, only the DP outputs 180fps. The HDMI goes up to 100 so VRR for PS5 doesn't.... nor does the PS5 support wide yet. Also, on the vertical and horizontal borders, the panel has half a centimeter of black space which essentially supports the panel, meaning it is not borderless at 3/4.

Love. Coming from a similar AOC curved 24'' and never having tried ultrawide before, I was very anxious. I got it for work, multitasking like word+pdf and some chrome etc. It is very convenient for this purpose, and has many options for 2-3 or 4 tabs together. I usually have 2 or rarely 3. Never again a small screen.
In height it is like a 27'', and in length like one and a half screen.
Gaming when the game supports UW and it's a good phase, and when it doesn't (or if you don't want to) you can put 16:9 resolution and it puts black bars on the sides and you really don't even notice it.
The only "annoying" thing I had to get used to, is the full screen on youtube and other online players, where when you press it, it takes up the whole screen (obviously) and not the half where I usually have the browser, and you lose the extra window. But usually I'm covered with theater mode.

Very good screen especially for gaming, I highly recommend it.
It comes with built-in Corsair, so you don't need to download Crosshair X or anything like that.

Everything perfect, huge, very good image, worth its money and more. The only negative thing I found is that while its features declare that it has speakers..... it does not.

  • I won't say much.

  • as a first impression, very good screen, large, I haven't opened it yet but for its price it is more than worth it, it officially comes with a 3-year warranty and is made in Greece

  • First time with ultra wide and I had my doubts, but in the end it's very convenient, not only for gaming, but also for those who work with DAW for music and/or NLE for video editing.

  • I don't have extensive experience to judge the features in detail, however it is an amazing experience to have such a screen and this size has helped me a lot in my work.

  • I, who am not a demanding user, find it simply perfect. I had two 24-inch Dell monitors for years and decided to try going for an Ultrawide curved.

Amazing screen, plenty of connections, and very user-friendly. Now I have one monitor and fewer cables. I have a very large desk, so I have no issues with space.
