Amazing book. I wasn't bored for a moment. Two different characters whose story takes you through many emotional ups and downs. Their love evolves very beautifully. I highly recommend it.

  • The story of Knight, an aspiring and cynical editor at the publishing house Pageturner, and Victoria, a determined and dynamic publishing manager, kept me company over the past few days. An office romance with two sworn enemies who will be forced to collaborate to save the publishing house from certain destruction after a series of unfortunate events. Along the way, they will clash, laugh, and annoy each other, and somewhere in there, the line between love and hate will begin to blur, where ultimately everything will be turned upside down. Or maybe not?
I confess that I started this particular book extremely excited despite its large size, as the enemies to lovers trope is one of my favorites. From the beginning, I was captivated by the truly clever and humorous dialogues while I laughed a lot during the reading and had a great time. However, somewhere after page 400, something changed, and I felt that the reading was dragging slowly, and suddenly I felt the weight of the book. The characters changed, and I confess that especially at the end, I caught myself feeling dissatisfied as some events occurred that really upset me, and I would not forgive. Personally, by the end, I was not convinced of their love, and honestly, I was saddened by the conclusion; I found it rushed and wrong for what had happened. I believe there were so many points where the story could have ended beautifully without dragging and disappointing the reader with certain events at the end.
However, I believe it is a book worth reading, and I would like to read more from the author!

  • It's unfair to give 3 stars based on the reviews that have already been written! Before you buy a book, you read what it's about! It's one of the most entertaining books I've read! The author is amazing. Of course, books are very subjective for everyone! It's definitely worth getting if you enjoy romance!

The book is definitely for adults, don't let the cover confuse you. However, it's worth a thousand! I read it in two days, I couldn't stop, I wanted to keep reading and at the same time, I didn't want it to end. Just what I needed to take a break from the detective novels I usually read!

I give it 3 stars because nowhere does it mention that the book is inappropriate for minors. From the cover and description, I would have bought it as a gift, but luckily I didn't give it away because it is a book with descriptions that are not suitable for children.
