Lenses with a focal length of 80-135mm on full frame, 50-75mm on crop frame, and 120-180mm on medium format are ideal for portrait photography as they allow photography from a medium distance and flatter the subject's features. Larger focal lengths are used for wildlife photography, sports events, and generally for all subjects that require a greater distance.

The optical design of the APO Skopar is an evolution of the legendary Tessar and includes seven elements, five of which are lenses made of glass with partial anomalous dispersion. This advanced construction ensures there are no aberrations, making us forget the existence of chromatic aberration.

Light Control

The aperture of the APO Skopar 90 mm offers settings from f/2.8 to f/22, allowing flexibility in working with depth of field. The aperture value can be adjusted in 1/2 EV steps.
