Their focal distance is usually 24-35mm for full-frame, 15-25mm for crop frame, and 50-70mm for medium format. They are commonly used in street photography but also in indoor spaces where there is limited distance from the subject. The perspective of wide-angle lenses makes things appear farther apart than they actually are.

  • Mount

    The type of mount that the camera body must have in order for the lens to be fully functional when attached to it.

The Voigtlander Color Skopar II Vintage Line 21 mm f/3.5 is a compact and lightweight wide-angle lens that impresses with its sharpness and color fidelity. Its optical design is derived from the former Skopar 21 mm f/4, improved to meet the needs of modern full-frame digital camera sensors.

It features a vintage barrel with a choice of black or silver finish. The 21 mm focal length places it between the "35" and the "15", with a 91° angle of view and a short minimum focusing distance, allowing for atmospheric capture during photography.

The optical design includes 9 elements in 8 groups, with two special elements, one aspherical and one with a low refractive index, offering excellent micro-contrast and sharpness. The ten-blade aperture provides control over the amount of light entering.

The lens is made entirely of metal for exceptional durability. The focus ring and aperture ring operate with precise resistance. The Leica M bayonet allows compatibility with rangefinder and mirrorless cameras.
