The Makita DBO381ZU orbital sander is powered by an 18 V battery and features a brushless BLDC motor. XPT technology increases its resistance to dust and moisture, while the electronic switch adjusts the stroke rate across 3 settings. It is suitable for sanding large surfaces made of wood, plastic and metal, as well as painted surfaces.

AWS connects the sander wirelessly to a vacuum cleaner via Bluetooth, which starts up together with the tool. The removable front handle allows one- or two-handed operation, while the rounded clamp edges make it easier to change the sandpaper. The aluminium base has a micro-rubber surface and rubber dampers to reduce vibration.
