Vineyards on slopes at an altitude of 550 - 600 m above sea level, with a Southwestern exposure. The climate is influenced by the winds of the Ionian Sea and is temperate with mild winters and cool summers. The soils are mainly rocky limestone, barren, sloping with good drainage.
