    Bought 2 of these fans about 8 months ago and used them as intake and exhaust, each in their respective role. After 6 and a half months of use, both fans started making a noticeable noise as if the blades were hitting something... They have probably lost their balance... both fans... Not a reliable model at all. I don't have another 20-inch fan to recommend since it's the only one I have tried. Look for something else...
    Update: The fans were installed vertically, but when installed horizontally, they no longer make noise... So yes... they only work for horizontal installation, and cases that fit 200mm fans are very limited, so... look for something else ^_^
