The Psyllium Husk formula from NOW is an excellent source of dietary fiber. Psyllium seed husk has traditionally been used as a fiber supplement that helps in the treatment of constipation.

Psyllium husk has the ability to multiply its original volume up to 50 times when added to liquids. In the intestine, psyllium husk expands forming a gelatinous mass, which keeps the stool soft and hydrated, thus contributing to regular bowel movements.

Psyllium seed husk is often indicated for the treatment of intestinal conditions, such as colitis, constipation, diarrhea, hemorrhoids, for the treatment of infections - inflammations of the bladder, such as cystitis, and also for the treatment of stomach ulcers.

Dosage

Take 3 capsules with 230 ml of any water, two to three times daily.
