The Hoya ProND EX 1000 lens filter reduces the amount of light passing through the lens by 10 stops. For video, it allows you to use a shutter speed that matches the frame rate while maintaining the desired depth of field, and helps create motion blur when filming moving subjects. For photography, it allows for longer exposures or a shallower depth of field in bright sunlight.
ACCU-ND technology reduces light equally across the visible and infrared spectrums, limiting color shifts under varying outdoor conditions. The filter has 58 mm threads on both the front and rear, allowing you to attach additional ND filters, a screw-on lens cap, or another filter.
