BIBS Colour pacifiers are made from latex, a material derived from the sap of the rubber tree (hevea). This sap is processed to produce latex - a durable, elastic, soft material that has a texture similar to that of a mother's breast.

• The nipple of the pacifier is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and adapts to the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity.
• The nipple is made from 100% natural latex.

Cleaning and sterilizing the pacifier: Good hygiene of pacifiers includes frequent cleaning. The smaller the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene.

Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius. Therefore, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in the microwave, in a steamer, or in a sterilizing solution.

Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps:

• Place the pacifier in a clean bowl.
• Pour hot water over the pacifier and let it sit for 5 minutes.
• Remove the pacifier to a clean towel and allow it to dry.

If water has entered the nipple (through the valve), use the towel to press the nipple until the water is expelled.
