3M Scotch 2000 insulating tape is self-adhesive and made from plasticized PVC. It is used to protect, seal, package, secure, reinforce and cover surfaces, as well as to join and seal metal or plastic pipes and ducts in ventilation, air conditioning, heating and cooling applications.

Its special adhesive provides permanent adhesion to many surfaces, while the tape is flexible and resistant to UV radiation, aging, abrasion, moisture, chemicals and weather conditions. It leaves no adhesive residue and can be used for temporary fastening.
