Description

The sequel to the critically acclaimed Bayonetta action game promises to keep players on their toes from start to finish. Filled with epic battles and impressive cut scenes, this game offers nonstop action. Traverse the city on a jet, face a giant Lumen Sage with a whip for an arm on a speeding train, and soar into the sky in a battle against a demonic dragon as you rise to the top of a skyscraper.

Armed with new weapons and abilities, Bayonetta confounds her enemies with new moves and torturous attacks. By exchanging magic points, she can unleash a new ability called Umbran Climax to summon demonic creatures and deliver powerful attacks repeatedly.

Players can choose between two gameplay styles: Normal and Touch. Normal Mode represents Bayonetta's unique technical control system, beloved by fans of the previous game and action game enthusiasts. On the other hand, Touch Mode offers a more convenient gameplay style for those unfamiliar with action games or simply seeking a new experience. Players can use the Wii U GamePad's touchscreen to easily control Bayonetta as she moves, attacks, and dodges enemies.

    Bayonetta 2 fails to surpass its predecessor in terms of storyline, but it is a worthy successor in terms of gameplay, graphics, and sound. Additionally, the Wii U controller makes the movements easier compared to the Dualshock, although the Wii U requires more things for a good combo.

    The story is quite touching and definitely keeps the player's attention until the end, while other abilities have been added, such as playing with other characters.

    I definitely give it 5 stars.
