Operation


  • Ported System (Holes): The part of the choke that protrudes from the barrel has rows of holes. These allow some of the gases to escape outward before the shot exits.

    • Result: Reduction of recoil (kick) and limitation of barrel rise, allowing the user to bring the gun back on target more quickly.


  • Barrel Extension: The choke screws internally into the barrel, but its body protrudes by 2 centimeters. This extension helps in the gradual tightening of the load, often leading to a more uniform distribution of the shot.


  • Surface Treatment: It features a special stainless matte coating. This property is functional, as it eliminates light reflections on the metal (glare), so the user's field of vision is not disturbed.

    • Tightenings (Choking)

    Gemini offers intermediate tightenings for greater accuracy in shot adjustment:

    1. LF (Light Full): Located between 1 star (*) and 2 stars (**). Used for very long shots where maximum possible concentration is required.

    2. LM (Light Modified): Located between 3 stars () and 4 stars (*). It is a medium tightening, suitable for most hunting conditions.

    Compatibility

    • Caliber: Cal.12.
    • Models: Suitable for all new Benelli models that use the Crio Plus choke system (e.g. Raffaello, Power Bore, Ethos, M2, Super Black Eagle II & III, etc.).

    Due to the ported holes, the choke requires more frequent cleaning than standard internal chokes, as it accumulates powder residues in the holes.
