The IQaudio DigiAMP+ uses Texas Instruments' PowerDAC TAS5756M for direct connection to passive stereo speakers with an output of up to 2x35wpc and variable output. Ideal for hi-fi systems based on Raspberry Pi.
Compatible case for the IQaudio DigiAMP+: HighPi Pro Case with universal port for Raspberry Pi 4.
The connection of the IQaudio DigiAMP+ is made via the 40-pin GPIO connector of the Raspberry Pi 1 Model B+, Raspberry Pi 2, Raspberry Pi 3, or Raspberry Pi 4 without the need for soldering. The DigiAMP+ requires an external power supply with a 12-24V DC source via the 5.5 mm x 2.5 mm barrel connector. The XP Power VEC65US19 power supply is recommended for use with the DigiAMP+.
The DigiAMP+ is designed to provide power to the combined Raspberry Pi and DigiAMP+ setup simultaneously, with an output of 5.1V @ 2.5A.
DO NOT APPLY POWER TO YOUR RASPBERRY Pi POWER INPUT WHEN USING THE DigiAMP+.
The amplifier is intentionally silent upon activation (mute LED lit). The mute status/LED is controlled via software (Raspberry Pi GPIO22).
P5: Alternative power input for tough installations. POLICY MUST BE FOLLOWED!
P8: Internal GPIO1/2/3 TAS5756m.
The IQaudio DigiAMP+ has undergone extensive compliance testing and meets the standards required in many countries. You can find all compliance information and regional certifications at raspberrypi.org/compliance.
Production of the IQaudio DigiAMP+ will continue until at least January 2026.
