I had noticed the case a few years ago because I liked its simple and unpretentious design. On the other hand, I had a bad experience with a Savio wireless adapter, so I was afraid back then. However, now that I was looking for a case to replace the old cube case that could no longer support Ryzen with its limited airflow, I decided to take the risk.
The case is a top budget case that unfortunately has no reviews on the internet. It comes with 4 integrated PWM fans. 3 in the front and 1 in the back. Not RGB (fortunately), but if you replace them with RGB I assume they will look great. It has space for water cooling, space for vertical GPU mount, and a very good chamber in the back for cable management and access to the back of the motherboard. Its glass panel comes off easily, closes and secures with a switch, something I personally prefer over magnets.
For those who want to install the GPU vertically, they will need a riser cable of at least 200mm as I calculate it. Personally, I would get a larger one, up to 300mm for safety. In any case, the excess cable can be easily hidden behind the GPU. The fans at full speed are very loud in a quiet environment, but barely noticeable in a normal noise environment. If you put them in PWM Mode or DC and create a good curve, they are quiet. Although it is Savio, it is very effective in terms of airflow. Its metal part is the classic thin aluminum used in budget cases like aerocool. Thin, but satisfactorily stable. It accommodates a Full ATX motherboard, but also does not look empty with an mATX motherboard. Therefore, it is not necessary to install the GPU vertically to hide any gap.
Overall, I was torn between this and the higher quality Asus a21. The latter would cost almost double if you add 4 good fans (€55 for Savio and €103 for Asus a21 with 4 Arctic PWM 120mm). So I took a risk with this one, which I prefer aesthetically. I was right. Buy it without fear, it's worth the money.
Είχε προσέξει το κουτί πριν κάποια χρόνια γιατί μου άρεσε το λιτό κι απέρριτο design του. Από την άλλη είχα κακή εμπειρία με ένα Savio wireless adaptor, οπότε το φοβήθηκα τότε. Τώρα όμως που έψαχνα κουτί να αλλάξω το παλιό cube case που δεν σήκωνε πλέον Ryzen με το περιορισμένο airflow του, αποφάσισα να το ρισκάρω.
Το κουτί είναι κορυφαίο budget κουτί που δυτυχώς δεν έχει κανένα review στο internet. Έρχεται με 4 PWM fans ενσωματωμένους. 3 Μπροστά και 1 πίσω. Όχι RGB (ευτυχώς), αλλά αν τα αλλάξεις με RGB υποθέτω μια χαρά θα δείξουν. Έχει θέση για υδρόψυξη, έχει θέση για vertical mount την κάρτα γραφικών και έχει πολύ καλό chamber πίσω για cable management και πρόσβαση στο πίσω μέρος της μητρικής. Το τζάμι του βγαίνει εύκολα, κλείνει και ασφαλίζει με διακόπτη, κάτι που προσωπικά το προτιμώ από μαγνήτη.
Για όσους θελήσουν να βάλουν την κάρτα γραφικών κάθετα, θα χρειαστούν riser cable τουλάχιστον 200mm όπως το υπολογίζω. Προσωπικά θα έπαιρνα μεγαλύτερο, μέχρι 300mm για σιγουριά. Έτσι κι αλλιως το περισσευάμενο καλώδιο κρύβεται εύκολα πίσω από την κάρτα γραφικών. Οι ανεμιστήρες σε full speed ακούγονται πολύ σε ήσυχο περιβάλλον, αλλά ελάχιστα σε κανονικό περιβάλλον θορύβου. Αν τα βάλεις σε PWM Mode ή DC και φτιάξεις ένα καλό curve είναι ήσυχα κατά κόρον. Παρόλο που είναι Savio, είναι πολύ αποτελεσματικά στο airflow. Το μεταλλικό του κομμάτι είναι το κλασσικό λεπτό αλουμίνιο που χρησιμοποιούνται σε budget cases όπως πχ της aerocool. Λεπτό μεν, ικανοποιητικά σταθερό δε. Δέχεται Full ATX motherboard, αλλά επίσης δεν φαίνεται άδειο με mATX motherboard. Έτσι λοιπόν δεν είναι απαραίτητο να βάλεις την GPU κάθετα για να κρύψεις κάποιο κενό.
Γενικά, ήμουν ανάμεσα σε αυτό και στο πιο ποιοτικό Asus a21. Εκείνο θα έβγαινε σχεδόν διπλάσια τιμή αν προσθέσεις 4 καλούς ανεμιστήρες (55€ το Savio και 103€ το Asus a21 με 4 Arctic PWM 120mm). Οπότε ρίσκαρα με τούτο δω το οποίο και προτιμώ εμφανισιακά. Δικαιώθηκα. Αγοράστε άφοβα, αξίζει τα λεφτά του.
