  • I don't think there's anything worse. First, they burst at the toes, developed cracks, take in water even though they're waterproof, the lace hooks come off, and they slip. Well, there's nothing left, total waste of money, what a shame

TERRIBLE. I saw the one star and generally some reviews saying that the eyelets for the laces come off and I didn't pay attention because I saw videos on YouTube that the army abroad wears them and trusts them, etc., and I got fooled... I bought them for the army, the sole is like a sports shoe, extremely flexible, resulting in no support for the foot against twists anywhere. As you can see in the photos, if it deforms so easily with just your hand, imagine what happens to your foot inside with weight during marches in the mountains. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way... On the second day, one eyelet came off without me even applying force and after 2 days almost all of them were gone... There is no justification for a 160€ boot, plus it slips on wet tiles... They are not suitable for marches or anything in general, rocks hit your sole and because the sole bends excessively, it tires you out a lot and they damaged my feet. They are not waterproof at all, once water falls on the tongue, especially, it gets inside. I should have gone for the Jolly Stealth Evo 6040ga from the start, which cost the same as the Merrell and are the best you can get for the money, but I got fooled because I wanted a boot with a zipper, which is also inconvenient because you have to untie the laces again to put them on if you want to tighten them properly.
