The railway lines have advanced further north, opening up new opportunities to transport your animals farther than before, even to cities outside the American borders. These locations can be particularly favorable, but they require more work and effort, such as building branches to offer you more delivery opportunities and earn different rewards.
Many of the features in Great Western Trail: Rails to the North (Second Edition) were included in the original Rails to the North expansion but have been revised and upgraded. The player boards are double-layered, there is an expansion of the board featuring different railway routes, and the medium city tiles have been modified.
Other elements included in this expansion are new objective cards, a revised building 13a-13b, new materials for the solo mode for Sam, and a new breed of orange cows.
