RX Sound Engine & Extensive Sound Library

The Korg Pa300 is based on Enhanced RX (Real eXperience) sound generation technology, which accurately reproduces the natural variations and harmonic characteristics of instruments. Its factory PCM memory includes more than 950 sounds in high resolution, including a multilayered Stereo Concert Grand Piano with realistic string resonance, as well as 64 Drum Kits. Users also have 256 sound memory locations and 128 Drum Kit locations for storing their own custom settings, with comprehensive sound-editing capabilities.

Accompaniment Styles & SongBook Library

The Pa300 accompaniment system includes over 310 preset Styles, each featuring 4 Variations, 3 Intros, 3 Endings, 4 Fill-Ins and a Break. Each Style can be fully customized and assigned to Favorite/User memory locations. It also features the digital music database SongBook, a fully programmable list that automatically recalls all the settings needed for each song (sounds, rhythm, tempo, master effects, chords and lyrics) at the touch of a button.

TouchView Touchscreen & Ease of Use

Functions are controlled via the 5-inch TouchView TFT LCD color touchscreen, with a resolution of 480 x 272 pixels. The user interface offers two operating modes: Easy mode, which simplifies the display to show only the essentials for beginners or quick navigation in a live setting, and Expert mode, which provides full access to all advanced editing parameters, filters, and synthesizer configurations.

Multimedia Playback & Built-in Sound System

The instrument is equipped with a Standard MIDI File (SMF 0/1) and MP3 player, offering real-time transpose and tempo change functions without compromising audio quality. It supports displaying lyrics and chords directly on the screen (graphics compatible with TXT, KAR and Score formats). The amplification system delivers a total output of 2 x 13 watts through two 10 cm speakers in a Bass Reflex cabinet, ensuring clear, self-contained audio without the need for external speakers.
