It meets many other pieces of various shapes, but in the end, only one is suitable for it... They roll together for a while, until even that one no longer fits... So, it starts the search from the beginning...
One of the most moving books I have ever read and, in my opinion, it is for all ages, both adults and children!
Because simply, we all want in our lives a person who loves us... A companion who will make our journey easier and more pleasant. We search for the right company, to finally reach fulfillment!
However, as we grow older, we gain more experience in this search... Not everyone who approaches us is good, nor do they all want what’s best for us... We recognize the signs early and learn to leave in time...
On this long journey, we may be alone for a while... Maybe someone who comes close to us says something that becomes the beginning of our self-analysis and self-improvement... Thus, we test our own strengths and realize that we can achieve a lot, even on our own...
Because personal fulfillment does not come with someone else’s help, but with the work we do on ourselves. And the love for ourselves extends to those who approach us... And so we feel full and happy! And maybe along the way, we will meet that one person who suits us best...
"The Missing Piece Meets the Big O" and "Mr. Full and Mr. Empty" are two very powerful self-improvement books for all ages... Even though I read both with my kids, I don’t think they fully understand their meaning... But I am making the effort, now that they are little...
I try to teach them that each of them must remain authentic, true to themselves, and optimistic... Their personal journey should not be filled with anxiety and doubts, because with self-awareness will come fulfillment and perhaps the realization of their desire for companionship!
The simple yet powerful illustrations elevate this particular book... The first time I read it, I immediately turned the pages to see what happened next...
Equally simple but powerful is the cover, which of course follows the same logic as the rest of the book!
I must admit that at first, I found the title very strange... But in the end, I was filled with warmth and optimism, and I had a sweet smile on my lips!
