Description

These unique and decorative glasses react mysteriously to the weather and have been used on ships since the 1750s. They were even used by Charles Darwin to predict the weather during his journey to the Galapagos Islands. The crystals change shape depending on the weather conditions. When the crystals are visible, wet and overcast conditions are expected. A cloudy glass with small crystals would signal to Charles Darwin that a storm is approaching, while clear glass would indicate fair weather.

The Storm Glasses are available in 3 different shapes: Large & Small drops and Globe. All come in their own beautiful packaging that will look great on your shelves. The drops are placed on a nice wooden base and can be positioned anywhere. The Storm Glasses work best when placed near a window and left there for 2 weeks.

  • Material: Glass and Wood
  • Available in 3 different variations
  • The drops are placed on a wooden base
