Classic problem with internet provider routers in Greece. Every now and then the Wifi would drop. So I decided that since I would spend some money, instead of getting a router that would connect to the OTE speedport, and then get internet through wifi on my desktop, to get this device, so I could connect it directly to the PC's ethernet port.

I did not regret it at all! The house is 200-250sqm, and when I connect it to any socket directly (without power strips), without any exaggeration, it's like I have connected an ethernet cable directly to the router. From the 25mbps I reach max, I have a full 25, and the ms... also the same as with the direct cable to the router. I tried several sockets in the house, close but also far from the router and all had the same result, even when the red light was on. Now I can play games comfortably without any lag.

The only negative is that if you connect it to a surge protector, there is a significant loss (about 15mbps), but NOT in ms. The ms remain stable. So if you don't care about speed, but want to have as few ms as possible for competitive games, even if you connect it to a surge protector, you will be fine.

Of course, it also has a socket to connect whatever you had connected before, I just don't prefer it, as it has a greater risk of burning in a voltage drop.

Anyone can really connect it, as the process is simple even for a 5-year-old child. You plug it into the socket near the router, connect the ethernet to the router, and press the button for two seconds. You put the 2nd in any other socket in the house and press its button for 2 seconds. Boom, connected. And if you want to change rooms, just unplug it from the socket and plug it into another one, and within 5 seconds it will automatically reconnect.

So far, two days that I have it, it has not disconnected at all.

At 30€ for the set of two, it's really a steal.
