A quite economical solution for iOS devices for playing CD quality lossless audio (up to 24 bit/48kHz). Plug 'n' play for Windows 11 PC and of course iOS/macOS/iPadOS devices.
The build quality is frankly unacceptable, hence the 4 stars. I foresee the thin cable between the two plugs wearing out soon.

EDIT: After just one month of using the adapter for playing music during my evening walks, the incredibly thin and cheaply made insulating material opened up and revealed the wires inside. It is worth mentioning that it still works in this condition.

I got it for the iPhone 15 and while it works fine with headphones, the connection through aux in the car doesn't work.

For Apple users, it is good, but on the s23 ultra, it lowers the sound in the middle. I will get another one now that I have changed ecosystems

A simple Apple DAC that does what it promises, on Apple devices. A thin cable that will break with use in record time, a characteristic of Apple. The problem of low volume on Android devices is created because the default value of the DAC for Apple is set at 50% volume, while Android considers this value to be 100% and does not increase it further. To play at normal volume on Android, download the patch from here: https://gitlab.com/LineageOS/issues/android/-/issues/5938. Otherwise, you need to download and use the USB Audio Player Pro, which bypasses the Android drivers and sends directly to the device's DAC. Once we increase the volume, we can close the USB Audio Player Pro and the setting will remain for all audio programs that use the device's DAC until we restart the phone.

For the Google Pixel, which is not easily found, it is compatible and works, it just has a sound deviation and lowers the sound volume

On iPad/PC/Mac and generally as a USB-C DAC, it does its job but it is power limited on Android and non-Apple devices without good reason. The only way to fix this is with an application called USB Audio Player Pro, but apart from this small drawback, it is very good as a DAC, especially considering its size. Would buy again 4/5

Ideal for connecting the iPad Pro with wired headphones. I had tried "no-name" ones, but they didn't work!

It does its job perfectly. I had tried other adapters that DID NOT work. Also, if you want to use it on an Apple Tablet, you should know that it only works when connected directly to the Tablet and not when connected to an adapter. This practically means that the one and only port of the Tablet is "occupied" by this specific accessory and you don't have the option to plug in something else.

By using it, the maximum volume is reduced by at least half compared to direct connection of 3.5mm headphones or Bluetooth.

I have it for 2 days and it works fine on iPad Air 4 and Huawei P Smart Z. The build quality is mediocre but it is durable. On the phone that has a jack, I just noticed that if I plug the headphones into the phone's type C port with the adapter, the sound is a bit quieter but there is no other issue with the sound quality

It does not have input for microphone or line. Be careful not to buy it if you want it for such use. It only works to connect wired headphones.

Like the lighting to 3.5mm, this one is also amazing. I use it on my Mac mini for my headphones, Grado SR80e, with a source of either flac files, Deezer HiFi, Apple Music, and it is flawless. In the settings, I see that it outputs 24-bit 44.1kHz.
Minus one star just for the thin cable that gives you the impression that it won't last long.

I have the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 phone and unfortunately the sound volume is not passing through, it reduces the volume too much, it is not compatible. For me, it's a waste of money.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this specific product. I bought it for a Xiaomi note8 pro, but it turned out to be lifeless in terms of volume, which is about 1/3 lower than the phone's output. It's a shame because the sound is clear and detailed. Luckily, it's not expensive.

Owner of Xiaomi Mi9SE, the sound it produces is noticeably lower compared to what Xiaomi provided.

Update: Now 1 star. I bought the corresponding converter from Huawei and the sound is much stronger.

It has been about 2 months since I bought it. I was hesitant when I was getting it because it had no reviews, neither here nor anywhere on the internet. But since I was torn between this and a Samsung at the same price, I decided to get this one because I trust Apple a lot when it comes to gadgets, even though I prefer Android phones. There hasn't been any problem. The length is not too short, but not too long either, which is convenient for it to fit comfortably in your pocket. The sound quality doesn't change at all, at least that's what I noticed. I highly recommend it!
