I used to buy the sports shoes from the company with 4 letters almost exclusively until 10 years ago when I switched to Asics, also due to declining quality back then.
Now the last straw with Asics, I replaced them with the well-known German brand to test the quality.

the sole from rubbing on the field wore off a large part of it after 6 months of training. well, the grooves disappeared in three months. very narrow in width, one size bigger.

Because they also need an extra insole to be softer, you have to buy one size up. The shoelace is short and barely enough for a knot. Overall decent, but I would prefer something else...
