The Shinko Group started as a manufacturer of bicycle tires and inner tubes and was founded in 1946 in Osaka, Japan. Today, it is an emerging manufacturer of rubber products. In 1998, the Shinko Group acquired motorcycle tire technology and molds from Yokohama Rubber Co. and began producing these products under the Shinko Tire brand.
