The Shinko Group started as a manufacturer of bicycle tires and inner tubes and was founded in 1946 in Osaka, Japan. Today, it is an emerging manufacturer of rubber products. In 1998, the Shinko Group acquired motorcycle tire technology and molds from Yokohama Rubber Co. and began producing these products under the Shinko Tire brand. With manufacturing based in South Korea and design based in Japan, the company has perfectly combined Japanese engineering and design principles with South Korean production and quality control standards.
Today, Shinko Tires factories produce approximately 200,000 motorcycle tires per month. Continuous testing in the U.S. and research and development at the Shinko Tires factory mean a continuous stream of exciting tires to meet the needs of today’s motorcyclists. Testing Shinko Tires, one thing is certain: once again, the Japanese impress us positively.
