Doing the unboxing, you notice that the chuck doesn't turn concentrically. You realize it strongly when you put a small drill bit. I hope it will settle, because otherwise it seems good. Although when you choose to address such a brand, you do it so as not to have such problems, knowing that you will pay the expensive price for it.

It has a brake for stopping (meaning it stops immediately when you release the trigger for safety reasons). I will provide a new review when I have used it for a certain period of time.

    Bought at 167 on offer with 2 2ah batteries in a case. It looks very high quality and reliable. Time will tell, of course. The mentioned gamble on the batteries is insignificant and pointless.

    After not even a hundred 3.5mm wood screws, and countless times of dropped drill bits and bits after the ridiculously sudden stop of the chuck at high speed (2), the tool remained with only one speed (the slow one, 1)!!!
    Now it will go to the service and I will be left with a brand new tool repaired with everything that implies for each of us who believed in such a brand name...

    I use it for both amateur and professional use. I bought it on sale for 170 euros. With these specific batteries and its compact design, it is small in size but giant in performance and above all very lightweight compared to other tools in its category. Very good targeted lighting and powerful impact. The batteries have a level indicator by pressing a button. Also, the batteries, although 2 amps, last a long time for their capacity and do not overheat. An excellent tool. Another great advantage is that by registering on the Dewalt website (within one month), the warranty is extended to 3 years. I have been extremely satisfied with it in the 6 months that I have had it. I will come back for anything that comes up.

    Remember that all tools have a wear and tear process called "break-in".

    Powerful tool with many capabilities and decent battery life. My only observation about this specific Dewalt model is regarding the chuck. It stops a bit abruptly when you release the trigger and it's not as concentric. For the price, I believe it is one of the best cordless impact drills available in the market today.

    After 2 years and having used it extensively, I have the following to add. The tool gets better as you use it. The chuck, which didn't rotate very concentrically and had a slight wobble in the drill bit, has improved with use and no longer wobbles at all. The batteries still hold up like they did on the first day of purchase. As for its reliability, I can confidently say that it's a beast. Buy it with your eyes closed.

    After not even a hundred 3.5mm wood screws, and countless times of dropped drill bits and bits after the ridiculously sudden stop of the chuck at high speed (2), the tool remained with only one speed (the slow one, 1)!!!
    Now it will go to the service and I will be left with a brand new tool repaired with everything that implies for each of us who believed in such a brand name...

    I use it for both amateur and professional use. I bought it on sale for 170 euros. With these specific batteries and its compact design, it is small in size but giant in performance and above all very lightweight compared to other tools in its category. Very good targeted lighting and powerful impact. The batteries have a level indicator by pressing a button. Also, the batteries, although 2 amps, last a long time for their capacity and do not overheat. An excellent tool. Another great advantage is that by registering on the Dewalt website (within one month), the warranty is extended to 3 years. I have been extremely satisfied with it in the 6 months that I have had it. I will come back for anything that comes up.

    Remember that all tools have a wear and tear process called "break-in".

    Powerful tool with many capabilities and decent battery life. My only observation about this specific Dewalt model is regarding the chuck. It stops a bit abruptly when you release the trigger and it's not as concentric. For the price, I believe it is one of the best cordless impact drills available in the market today.

    After 2 years and having used it extensively, I have the following to add. The tool gets better as you use it. The chuck, which didn't rotate very concentrically and had a slight wobble in the drill bit, has improved with use and no longer wobbles at all. The batteries still hold up like they did on the first day of purchase. As for its reliability, I can confidently say that it's a beast. Buy it with your eyes closed.

    09/02/2023: I bought the DCD795D2 for professional use. The chuck does not turn off-center as mentioned in another review. It has a brake for stopping (meaning it stops immediately when you release the trigger for safety reasons). I will provide a new review when I have used it for a certain period of time.
