Advance Veterinary Diets Urinary is a complete dietary dry food for adult cats prone to urinary problems. Its moderate magnesium levels and urine-acidifying properties help reduce the recurrence of struvite and calcium oxalate stones. The formula contains glucosamine and chondroitin to support the urinary epithelium.
It contains controlled levels of sodium and potassium to dilute the urine. It is recommended for use under veterinary supervision, as the sole food, with fresh water always available. For dissolving stones, the recommended feeding period is 5–12 weeks; to help prevent recurrence, it can be fed long-term.
