The LECHUZA PALMPON planting substrate consists of black lava, pumice, pine bark and zeolite—minerals with a stable structure. It is enriched with slow-release fertiliser, potassium and iron, which provide nutrients for plants and promote their growth. The black lava helps retain heat, while the substrate aerates the roots and supports drainage, preventing waterlogging and overflow.
It is suitable for palm trees, tropical and Mediterranean plants, permanent planting indoors and outdoors, as well as for use as a complete growing medium, drainage layer or decorative top layer. It contains no peat and helps prevent mould and pests.
