Initially, starting from the "background" of the fragrance, I believe it is a worthy successor to the discontinued Acqua di Gio Profumo, as it is essentially the same scent, with perhaps minimal differences that most people won't notice.

Regarding the packaging, the bottle is impressive, as you can see in the photos. It has a nice black gradient color that becomes transparent towards the base of the bottle and a matte texture. The "touch," however, that gives it a premium feel is the magnetic cap. Furthermore, for anyone interested in a few more technical details, it is worth mentioning that this particular fragrance has two versions: the 2023 & the 2024 - the 2023 is available in bottles of 40/75/125 ml vs the 2024 which is available in 30/50/100/200 ml, while there are also some differences in the appearance of the bottle, as in the 2024 the name of the house "Giorgio Armani" is written lower down. Aside from these small differences, the fragrance does not seem to have changed.

Moving on to the most important part, I present the notes that I perceive when I "wear" it: aquatic notes, greenery (mainly rosemary), patchouli, and finally, incense which gives it a smoky character. I specifically perceive the incense more intensely after the first 2 hours, as it is a base note, so it is at my favorite stage of its progression. Overall, I find the blend fantastic!

If I had to describe it in other terms (besides the notes) I would say it exudes a sense of purity while maintaining a mature character.

Comparing it with the other Acqua di Gio flankers, it certainly differs in the lack of citrus / acidic notes, which are more pronounced in the original AdG, as well as in Profondo. To be honest, bergamot is mentioned in the notes, but I perceive it very little to not at all, and it is definitely not a protagonist. Additionally, it has a darker tone compared to the other AdG fragrances thanks to the incense.

If I had to liken it to another fragrance beyond the other Acqua di Gio flankers, I would say it has a similar style to Dylan Blue (after all, the perfumer of both is Alberto Morillas), without this meaning that their scents are similar. Simply put, in my opinion, I would wear both under the same circumstances: they are all-year-round safe "fresh" fragrances that can be worn on any occasion (office, going out).

The longevity on me is moderate to good, lasting 5-6 hours. Of course, after the first 4 hours, it may be more of a skin scent.

My favorite and I wear it, since it was released, during the summer months and the best of the Acqua di Gio line now that the Profumo has stopped being produced.
Out of all the series, it has the longest duration and projection.
On my skin, it lasts around four hours with moderate to good projection in the first hour.

Compared to the other ADG fragrances from the house, it is more botanical and "green" in its opening.
In terms of preference in the series, personally, I consider it first, followed by Profondo EDP, Profondo Parfum, ADG EDT, Absolu, and finally ADG EDP, as I don't like the sharpness it gives off on my skin.
