The Grimsholm heat-shrink connector for cables allows for the creation of waterproof joints in your perimeter installation. It features a melt solder that creates a secure connection, combined with dual adhesive seals on each side of the connection, providing good connectivity and high insulation against moisture.
The connector contains a 60 mm extension with Premium HD cable, the top quality cable from Grimsholm. Its waterproof properties facilitate usage, as it replaces a damaged section of signal cable up to 60 mm long, allowing connection with minimal resistance.
The insulation is achieved through the dual adhesive rings of the connector, and it also includes a heat-shrink tube with hot melt glue for additional protection at the coupling.
The use of heat is essential for melting the solder and for shrinking the surrounding insulation. Ideal equipment for use is a heat gun, a lighter, or similar.
