The book Effective Educational Interventions for Learning Difficulties: A Teaching Program for Improving Reading Comprehension and Written Expression aims to fill the gap that exists in both Greek and foreign literature regarding the creation of effective interventions in the field of education, particularly in inclusion.

In an innovative way, it immerses all interested parties – educators, psychologists, special educators, and mental health professionals – in understanding the demanding yet creative process of developing intervention programs, helping them to structure and design their own interventions step by step, with the goal of enhancing their students' academic skills.

The book includes the empirically validated effective teaching program “Atlantis: The Myth of the Lost Atlantis.” The program consists of: (a) the educator's manual that presents the exact method of applying the intervention and (b) the students' book for those with learning disabilities, which contains all the activities aimed at enhancing reading comprehension and written expression.
