Description

Description

The AMD Ryzen 5 5600GT processor is based on the Zen 3 microarchitecture (2024). It features 6 cores with 12 Threads. More cores provide increased power for programs that take advantage of a higher number of cores. Threads allow the processor to run multiple applications simultaneously, completing tasks faster. Its maximum frequency is 4.6 GHz.

It incorporates 16 MB of Cache memory. Cache memory is a very important feature, as the larger it is, the less time the processor needs to retrieve data from the computer's main memory, which significantly boosts performance.

It features the AM4 Socket and will need to be installed on a motherboard with the corresponding Socket. This is an unlocked processor, which means it can be overclocked for higher performance. You will not need to purchase a separate cooler unless you want the best possible cooling for your processor, especially under overclocking conditions.

The Ryzen 5 5600GT is a powerful processor, making it ideal for work environments where multiple applications and browser windows need to be open at the same time. It also features integrated graphics, which can be used for light gaming in case your system does not have a more powerful dedicated graphics card.

The processors of the "Zen 3" microarchitecture are designed for gaming, offering up to 19% higher performance compared to previous generations, along with up to 24% lower power consumption. They feature higher bandwidth, contributing to increased performance. The large Cache memory, double that of "Zen 2", promises minimal delays in core-to-core communication, something that gamers will fully benefit from. Indicatively, gamers in 1080p games will experience an average performance increase of 26%.

  • Unacceptable for AMD to have pins instead of contacts, which Intel has adopted since 2005-2006, from the era of Core2 Duo and Pentium4 on socket 775.
It had fallen for me in the past (because you handle it carefully) and the pins got bent... and then you buy AMD again??
For this reason, never again AMD, only if they change their design

  • Very powerful processor for its price and its integrated graphics are also amazing. Even with the stock cooler, it keeps temperatures relatively low (tested in video editing, it plows through)
